This year the studio has taken on the challenge of improving and developing its service with minimal capital so that our costs and therefore prices can be kept to a minimum. To this end we have been renovating a set of 1980's analogue recording equipment for use along-side the existing digital recorder.
Our digital system runs a 'Digi 001' on mac G4 using an old copy of Logic Audio. The system can be synchronised with the Tascam 16 track tape machine and the desk can provide 24 inputs for the two systems together. This set-up allows us to make good quality recordings for demo or release purposes. When you combine this with the web services I hope that the result is a comprehensive package to help promote artists working with sound, images, graphics, the internet and so on.
